Signature tours are only given by the guide who has designed the tour, and are available based on guide availability. Since each of our guides is also an actively working designer, we suggest booking your signature tour
at least one month prior to your visit to New York City.

During this shopping tour, scope out good deals at all of the sample sales NYC has to offer. The perfect tour for people who like to hunt for bargains & love the rush of a good sale! Possible sample sales include clothing, accessories, home goods, and much more. Please note that actual clothing samples are usually sizes 2 - 6; overstock may come in more sizes.**

Recommended tour length: 2-3 hours, depending on how many sample sales you’d like to visit during the tour

About Elizabeth
Elizabeth is a native New Yorker and Queens resident with 15+ years experience in the Fashion Industry, starting as an intern and working up to Sr. Designer. Her design experience includes working for such classic American fashion houses as Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Perry Ellis International. She has designed Childrenswear, Menswear, Womenswear, Pet Apparel, and Accessories - a self professed "Jack of all trades." In addition to being a fashion designer, she is also a print designer, having created prints for Original Penguin, Mavi, and Sean John Boys. As a stylist and personal shopper, she has been able to work with a a vast clientele from all walks of life, sizes, budgets, and taste levels.

Elizabeth holds an A.A.S. as well as a B.F.A. in Childrenswear and Womenswear from The Fashion Institute of Technology.

About Amalya
Amalya is a young designer who currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

She has created costumes for the original performance
The Secret Paris Project, as well as Chapter Of Understanding at the El Barrio Theater in New York City. In her womenswear, Amalya strives to create eco-friendly pieces that are not only handmade and one-of-a-kind, but also made from recycled materials and constructed in a zero waste manner. These original pieces can be found for sale in Soho's Paracelso, and East Williamsburg's Nouveau Vieux

Amalya holds a Foundation Degree in Textile Design from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, and a dual B.F.A. and B.A. from Parsons The New School for Design and Eugene Lang College.

Make your Halloween, dance recital, ComicCon, or Renaissance costume idea a reality by shopping alongside a professional costume designer to purchase fabrics, supplies, and other costume necessities. s in New York City. From basic pieces to finishing touches, we'll help you to secure all of the tools and materials necessary to successfully execute your costume design.

A professional costume designer, Rebecca will accompany you to popular Halloween and clothing stores, vintage boutiques, and lesser-known shops frequented by professional costume designers. Shop for costume pieces, masks, wigs, makeup, clothing, accessories, art supplies, fabric, ribbons, jewelry, beads, buttons--whatever you need to make your vision a reality.

Along the way, Rebecca will offer advice on the best way to wear your costume and the techniques necessary to execute your vision. Client is responsible for cost of materials.

Costume research and rendering services may also be available for an additional fee (to be determined based on project requirements). At least three weeks’ advance notice required.

Shop for dance clothing, shoes, and accessories on this dancewear tour of NYC
Shop for dance shoes, leotards, tights, and dancewear accessories, as well as theatrical makeup and costume supplies. Visit flagships of major dance and athletic wear retailers, as well as local dance boutiques.

Along the way, peruse Broadway gift shops, explore the Theatre District (and discover bits of entertainment history hidden smack dab in the middle of Times Square!) and learn where the major dance studios are located. See where actors buy their scripts, where dancers get their shoes fixed, and where stars hang out after a performance. As a dancewear designer, former dancer, and working member of the entertainment community, Rebecca will provide "insider" showbiz information while telling stories about what it's
really like to live in New York City and work in the entertainment industry. Tour can be tailored to your specific area of interest and, if desired, can also include a visit to Lincoln Center, home of The Metropolitan Opera, Juilliard, American Ballet Theatre, and the New York Philharmonic.

An avid theatergoer, Rebecca is also happy to offer recommendations and advice on which Broadway shows to see (and how to score cheap tickets!)

Rebecca is a professional costume designer living and working in NYC
About Rebecca
Rebecca is a costume designer and wardrobe stylist working primarily in the entertainment industry. Her television credits include Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, The Meredith Vieira Show, and Comedy Central’s Night of Too Many Stars. She also spent several seasons in the costume department at the Metropolitan Opera, and has had her work featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly magazine.

A former dance student and teacher, Rebecca has designed dance costumes and gymnastics apparel for
Tighe Industries/Curtain Call Costumes (now Perform Group LLC) including several recital costume designs which became top sellers. More recently, her dancewear and burlesque designs have been seen at Broadway Bares, an annual benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS produced Jerry Mitchell.

Rebecca holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Towson University and an M.F.A. in Costume Design from the School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon University.
